ZOETERMEER, Netherlands — June 25, 2024 — Topcon Positioning Systems has announced Blinken Tools is the new provider for Topnet Live network subscriptions in Sweden. In addition to providing Topcon laser, surveying and GNSS products, Blinken Tools will now provide access to the real-time global navigation satellite system (GNSS) correction service network that delivers high-quality data to GNSS receivers used in a variety of applications, including surveying, construction, mobility, IOT and precision agriculture.
The network offers users a full-constellation service, which uses all four GNSS satellite systems for greater accuracy and reliability. This includes Beidou and Galileo systems as well as the standard GLONASS and GPS. The service offers complete flexibility for subscribers, with annual, monthly and hourly packages available to be tailored according to individual business and project needs. Pan-European subscriptions are also available, and users are able to have multiple devices on one license.

About correction services: In order to provide precise positioning accuracy, a GNSS receiver needs to compensate for inaccuracies caused by satellite constellations, receiver hardware and atmospheric conditions. These inaccuracies can be calculated by a network of fixed reference stations that constantly receive GNSS data. This correction information is then broadcast to GNSS receivers as a service.
